Does anything beat that view?! Not in my book!

We stayed at the beautiful Al Qasr in Madinat Jumeirah for a few days during Eid. It’s seriously the perfect location for a staycation– secluded but still right in the middle of the city if your mixing business with pleasure (or need to go home to pick up diapers that you forgot to pack).  Everyone knows just how beautiful the Madinat Jumeirah and the surroundings of Al Qasr hotel are– gorgeous Burj Al Arab views, old castle-style architecture and sheer opulence.

The rooms were clean and spacious, but felt a little bit out of date. Perhaps its because of the whole ‘old’ castle-theme they have going on? Anyway, they did have some nice touches– Cartier chocolates, wonderfully oversized bath amenities and large balconies for you to take in the views.

Everything else was perfect– the staff all over the hotel are so considerate, kind and very quick with service. We’ve never had to wait more than 2 minutes for our car to come up from valet, which is super impressive on Eid weekend.

By the way, the breakfast is to friggin’ die for! They have everything you can imagine– fresh juices made in front of you from the fruits you select, honey from all parts of the world, all types of breakfasts from different cuisines, etc. We looked forward to waking up early throughout our stay there, just to head down to breakfast. It was amazing! We definitely enjoyed our stay here, and I would definitely like to see other rooms that they have available at the hotel.
