Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is such a beautiful property, but their Beach House restaurant is beyond spectacular. We came here on a Saturday morning, when the weather was absolutely beach-perfect. The restaurant is located on the far side of the hotel, at the end of the pools and right at the start of the gorgeous white sand beach.

Although the weather was perfect outside, we decided to sit inside since little Khalifa is sometimes sensitive to breezy winds. We came soon after the restaurant opened, at 9.30am so it was still quiet and we were seated by the window, with a beautiful view of the pool as well as the beach. The decor of the place is absolutely amazing! It’s got the perfect dream beach/vacation home feel to it. Here’s Khalifa, in his PJs, patiently waiting to have some of his Baba’s omelette 🙂

 

The staff were very attentive and quickly took our orders. For drinks, my husband got carrot juice and I got fresh green apple juice. Both were delicious and very refreshing. For breakfast, I got the Quiche with Beef Bacon and the hubs ordered a French Omelette. The waiter told us about the sweeter breakfasts and they seemed so good that we ended up ordering Apple Beignets as well as the Waffles with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream.

The French Omelette came with many sides including beef bacon, sausages, mushrooms, delicious baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes and some micro greens. Everything on it was so well seasoned and the omelette itself was fluffy and perfectly cooked. My quiche was so delicious, that I’m literally still craving it now as I type. It came with a simple salad of greens and a light vinaigrette dressing. It was on the smaller side though, so I was glad that I ordered the waffles as well. The waffles were perfect– crispy on the outside and light a fluffy in the middle. It came with a delicious compote made from a variety of berries, and a very smooth and light whipped cream. Yum!

My husband’s meal was very hearty so by the time the beignets came, he was already full! I had a bite of it and it was really nice– a beautifully battered apple, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It came with a ricotta and organic honey mixture. Since we were heading to the beach right after breakfast and we didn’t finish our breakfast desserts, they were so kind to send it to our room, so we could enjoy it after we came back from the beach.

Now, the breakfast choices aren’t too extensive, but everything that they make is so perfectly cooked and seasoned. It’s definitely a perfect start to a relaxing day by the water.
